Retirement and equity compensation are no longer operating in silos — and employees aren’t thinking about them separately either.

Join the San Francisco Chapters of the Western Pension & Benefits Council and National Association of Stock Plan Professionals (NASPP) for an afternoon of insights, discussion, and networking focused on how total rewards strategies are evolving in practice.

Program Schedule

  • 2:00 – 2:30 PM: Registration
  • 2:30 – 3:20 PM: Total Rewards Convergence
  • 3:30 – 4:20 PM: From the Advisor’s Desk to HR’s Inbox
  • 4:30 – 6:00 PM: Reception & Networking

Session 1: Total Rewards Convergence: Bringing Equity and Retirement Benefits Together

As equity compensation plays a larger role in long-term wealth building, employers, advisors, and administrators are rethinking how equity and retirement benefits align. This session explores participant research and practical strategies for creating cohesive programs that improve outcomes without adding unnecessary complexity.

Speaker: Chris Burkhard, Senior Vice President, Schwab Workplace Services

Session 2: From the Advisor’s Desk to HR’s Inbox: Employee Questions That Shape Your Plans

A conversation between a Morgan Stanley Financial Advisor and an issuer exploring what drives employees to seek financial advice, key life and career milestones, and how those interactions influence plan design and participant experience.

Speakers: Victoria Bailey (Morgan Stanley) & Donna Spinola (Intuitive Surgical)
