Total Rewards in Action: Where Equity Meets Retirement

Retirement and equity compensation are no longer operating in silos — and employees aren’t thinking about them separately either.

Join the San Francisco Chapters of the Western Pension & Benefits Council and National Association of Stock Plan Professionals (NASPP) for a two-part program exploring how equity and retirement benefits intersect in today’s total rewards landscape.

Session 1: Total Rewards Convergence

As employers compete for talent, the integration of equity compensation and retirement benefits is becoming a strategic imperative. This session explores how organizations are aligning these programs to create cohesive, competitive total rewards strategies — and what it means for plan sponsors, advisors, and HR leaders.

Session 2: From the Advisor’s Desk to HR’s Inbox

What are employees actually asking about their equity and retirement plans? From diversification concerns to tax timing questions, real-world inquiries are shaping how plans evolve. This session dives into the most common and consequential employee questions — and how plan design, communication, and governance can respond proactively.

After the sessions, stay for a hosted networking happy hour with peers across both organizations.

Why Attend?

  • Hear cross-disciplinary insights from industry experts
  • Connect with retirement and equity professionals in one room
  • Expand your network across both WP&BC SF and NASPP San Francisco communities
  • Earn continuing education credit (details forthcoming)
